Korea-Iran - the Failure of Current Non Proliferation Policies

Newropeans is proposing for months to have a complete new non-proliferation policy pushed forward by the Europeans. Whether it concerns Iran or Korea or other future nuclear powers, the main idea is that the current Treaty on Nuclear Non Proliferation is obsolete and that a new policy must rapidly emerge based upon the idea of controlling rather than preventing access to nuclear power.

E-democracy will make the difference

When Natalie P. leaves her office at about 6 p.m. she is always in a hurry. Just two hours left to share dinner with her two little children and to read a short bedtime story. She did not go to the round table discussion on “Iran’s nuclear program and Europe’s role as intermediator” she had been invited to.

She is interested in politics, but family and irregular working time prevent her from getting herself involved with the NGO’s and political activists nearby. Later at night, after things have calmed down, she boots her computer and logs in to the Newropeans Intranet. She doesn’t even know perhaps, but actually she is a precursor of e-democracy.
