On August 23, while much of Europe was still enjoying summer vacation, the first hydrogen fuel station marked crucial first step towards establishing 580 km long "hydrogen highway" between Norway's oil capital Stavanger and national capital Oslo. In Canada hydrogen highway will be operational in Vancouver by 2010 Winter Olympic Games. California and Florida are developing their own H-highways.

Once again I have had to redirect my report towards a subject other than the one I had planned to cover this week-end. Israel's assault on the Lebanon cannot leave me silent.
